IEEE on the Web
The IEEE Sensors Journal is publishing Sensors Letters in addition to regular papers. The aim of publishing Letters is to enable researchers and industrial practitioners to report original, cutting-edge developments quickly. To ensure rapid publication, the review cycle for Letters has been shortened and accepted Sensors Letters jump to the front of the Journal’s electronic and print publishing queues.
Sensors Letters are limited strictly to two printed journal pages and should be submitted using a template available at the Sensors Journal website:
http://www.ieee-sensors.org/ieee-sensors-journal
Manuscripts should be submitted through our ScholarOne Manuscript website (formerly Manuscript Central):
http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/sensors
indicating Sensors Letter in the “Manuscript type” roll-down menu. No overlength Letters will be permitted. Letters manuscripts are accepted or rejected as submitted. The authors of rejected Letters manuscripts can revise their work and submit it again. Such revised manuscripts will be treated as new submissions.
The option to publish Letters is an important feature of the IEEE Sensors Journal. As an aid to authors, the suitability of a manuscript for a Sensors Letter is based on whether the results and conclusions warrant fast communication. All other criteria for acceptance in IEEE Sensors Journal remain unchanged.
